Titaron is a water-based solution of pure titanium dioxide microparticles, treated with a patented process, that when sprayed on indoor surfaces will bond naturally with the surface. How will Titaron help?
The process is called photocatalysis. An established property of titanium dioxide is that when bathed in light it releases what are called 'hydroxyl radicals'. A hydroxyl radical is one hydrogen atom bonded to one oxygen atom. They are common in nature, and they are on our side.
These short-lived hydroxyl radicals break down organic compounds, inactivate viruses and bacteria and modify allergens so they are no longer recognised by the immune system.
